Kate has been in the health care industry for over 20 years with roles at both ECRI and GHX. Across her career, Kate has worked with hospitals, health systems, federal government, and Ministries of Health across North and South America.  Shermaine Pollard - Past President and Chapter Relations Chair Shermaine Pollard is a seasoned Healthcare Supply Chain and Supplier Diversity professional with over 25 years of experience. She’s currently the Business Diversity Director at MedStar Health, Inc., where she leads their comprehensive Business Diversity strategic focus. Shermaine is a leading voice among regional industry leaders in fostering equity, inclusion, and diversity. Growing up in Baltimore City's underserved community, Shermaine has a passion for equity for all.  Josh Naftolin - Emerging Leaders Chair Josh has been in the healthcare industry for more than 25 years. He is currently a vendor liaison for Henry Schein Medical, working with Integrated Delivery Networks, Critical Access Hospitals and Rural Hospitals across the Mid-Atlantic Region. Josh has a passion for caring and enjoys working with his customers to provide value and drive savings. Josh was President of MASHMM from 2021-2023 and loves supporting this fabulous organization. Kathy Palmentere - Education Chair
Based in Kansas City, MO, Kathy is a healthcare supply chain professional with a strong foundation in
value analysis and strategic transformation. A graduate of Missouri State University, she began her healthcare career in New York City, where she spent four years in Value Analysis and Strategic Sourcing at Mount Sinai Hospital and was an active member of HCRMA-NY.
Since Mount Sinai, Kathy has been part of GHX, contributing to data-driven process improvement and operational excellence for providers and suppliers nationwide. She brings a blend of clinical alignment, supply chain insight, and technology expertise to every partnership—driving meaningful, measurable results across the healthcare ecosystem.
Jennifer Browne -Administrative Chair
Jennifer is a dedicated healthcare professional with three decades of experience in nursing and healthcare administration. With a passion for managing the complex relationship between clinical teams and the healthcare Supply Chain, Jennifer has a strong commitment to ensuring efficiency, financial stewardship, and quality are not compromised when managing strategic product changes using evidence-based best practices.
Jennifer is a Registered Nurse holding her BSN from Towson State University. She is a Certified Value Analysis Healthcare Professional (CVAHP) and is pursuing her MBA in Healthcare Administration and Project Management. Throughout her career, Jennifer has traversed diverse roles in Adult Critical Care, Trauma, Women’s Health, and Perioperative Services.
In her current role, Jennifer is the Corporate Director for Value Analysis at LifeBridge Health.
Capitalizing on her skills as a nurse, she has consistently delivered substantial savings through her strategic approach towards product standardization, the introduction of new products, and managing conversion opportunities. Her leadership ensures the alignment of strategic goals, making her a vital asset to her organization.

Izabella is a Supply Chain Leader who oversees a supply operations team at MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center. She manages logistics, process improvements, and cross-department communication. Her experience in auditing front line healthcare operations drives continuous improvement and innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency. Haseeb Khan - Membership Haseeb Khan is a Supply Chain Manager at MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center, where he applies data analytics and operational insight to optimize healthcare supply chain performance. He actively aligns supply chain strategy with organizational objectives through disciplined inventory management, demand planning, and the application of lean practice models. Building on his academic foundation at the University of Baltimore, Haseeb continues to leverage the operational discipline and analytical rigor developed early in his career. These experiences allow him to approach complex operational challenges thoughtfully and apply practical, data-informed insights that support decision-making and continuous performance improvement.
